Kieron
Kieron attended Conductive Education at Rutland House School for Parents for 2 ½ years before starting primary school.
Here they did all their exercises through play in small group situations, repeating the same movements and songs each week. This promoted understanding and independence in every day life. They helped Kieron with his posture and balance and showed him how to hold a cup and spoon, thus helping him to help himself at meal times.
We wanted to continue this good work when he went to mainstream school and it was great to find a conductive education teacher who would come to our house and continue his C.E..

I began Conductive Education 10 years ago. At that time my hips, ankles and back were very stiff. I could only walk very short distances with difficulty and was having occasional bad muscle spasms in my legs. I fell quite often. I thought I would have to give up driving.
After a very short time of having C.E. my condition improved. I no longer have spasms; I walk more comfortably and for longer distances.
I continue to drive and am so glad I discovered Conductive Education.
